Features & Facilities
There is a very nice 6 v 6 PC setup for competitive PC games like Dota 2, League of Legends or Counter Strike, an absolutely massive TV for competitive console play as well as several driving simulators.
Because the area is focused on playing rather than spectating there isn’t too much seating for spectators, but a fairly large crowd would be able to gather around the equipment to watch the Esports Gladiators battle it out.

History
Red Bull has been involved in the Esports gaming for many years now with their very own Esports Team which was started in 2010. They are also known to host Esports events such as Red Bull Kumite 2015, which was a Street Fighter IV tournament.
Until they opened the Gaming Sphere, Red Bull would rent out existing venues and turn them into Esports Arenas. But in 2018 they took the plunge in creating their very own Esports Arena.
The Red Bull Gaming Sphere London was designed as a purpose build Esports center capable of hosting daily events for the public, as well as broadcasting more competitive matches across the internet.
The purpose of the Arena seems to be growing the popularity of the sport in general, and making it more accessible to the wider public.
