Due to be opened in 2023, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College will hopefully be launching their very own dedicated Esports Arena at their West of England Institute for Specialist Education (WISE) Further Education College site.

Based on the mockups, this appears to be a conventional concert-type arena with 1,500 seats facing the center stage. The “Red vs. Blue” desks look very cool, as do the 3 large LED screens above the stage. It will be very interesting to see the final product, and how it compares to the plans.

History
Following in the footsteps of Staffordshire University Esports Arena, Bristol are planning to have their Arena launched by September 2023, although right now there is no concrete launch date.
They’ve enlisted the help of the NLAE to build the Arena, who are responsible for Abertay University’s upcoming 4,000 seat Esports arena.
