Features & Facilities
One of the most interesting features of the OGN Super Arena is the bespoke stage tailor made for Battle Royale games. The stage is huge with 100 seats for 100 gamers to battle it out in full view of the 500 seated audience, and the millions watching around the world.
The 100 seats are spread across a total of 20 desks in 4 rows. Behind these desks is a massive 14,000ish inch curved LED screen capable of broadcasting multiple feeds and highlights.
Another cool feature are the LED panels at the front of the desks to profile information like name, health, k/d ect.
As you’d expect with a modern Esports arenas, this space was set up specifically for broadcasting, with dedicated lighting and filming rigs place around the arena.

History
South Korean company OGN opened their first Esports arena in Soeul in 2016, named the Seoul OGN eStadium, and looked to increase their outreach to North America. With the rise in the popularity of Battle Royale games in the 2010s, it was only a matter of time before purpose built arenas popped up for games like Fortnite, PUBG and Clash Royale.
OGN then formed a partnership with PUBG creators PlayerUnknown to create the North American PUGB League, and so needed a suitable North American venue to host key events. And this is why OGN chose to create their own battle royale arena, as there just aren’t a lot of options for broadcasting battle royale games.
And so in Decemeber 2019 OGN’s dream became a reality, and the OGN Super Arena was launched, going on to host PUBG and Clash Royale tournaments the same year.

Driving
To get onto the Manhattan Beach Studios property you need to go through the main gate located on Redondo Ave, to the south of the actual studio.
There is the MBS parking structure located on the right as you enter the gate, which usually has parking allocated for the OGN Esports events. There’s tons of parking spaces here, so you’re pretty much guaranteed a spot if you have a ticket, but please check your event information for specifics.
