By day the main space is filled wall-to-wall with high-spec gaming PCs (120) and consoles (60) for the public to use, but by night for bigger Esports events the desks are moved, and rows and rows of chairs are set up facing the centre stage.

We love this style of Esports Arena able to cater for both the community and competitions, and think we’ll see a lot of more of this style popping up around the world.

Another cool feature is that this a multi-layer venue, meaning there’s essentially an awesome balcony area overlooking the centre stage, which could have a few more Esports fans squeezed around to increase capacity for larger events.

And to broadcast the action there is a large dedicated screen centre stage, with 2 small auxiliary screens either side.

At the front of the arena is a traditional gig stage which is actually used to host musical acts regularly. Depending on the type of Esport being played different equipment can be set up on the stage, but a common set up is 2 desks facing the audience for 5 v 5 games like Dota 2, League of Legends or Counter Strike.

This Esports Arena is located within the historical Ramona Building in Santa Ana, California which was originally built in 1922. It would be 93 years before the aptly named company ‘Esports Arena’ opened the dedicated Esports Arena in North America.
