History
Opened in 1967, the Anaheim Convention Center was originally home to Basketball side Anaheim Amigos. In the 21st Century it’s probably more famous for hosting geek events like VidCon, BlizzCon and Anime Expo.
The first Esports event held at this location was the Major League Gaming’s MLG Anaheim 2006, which featured games including Halo 2 and Super Smash Bros. Melee.
