This is officially the largest purpose Esports stadium in the world, holding 6,000 gaming fans, built on the South Bank of the Yangtze River in Zhong County, Chongqing.

As well as 6,000 Esports fans allowed directly in the arena, there is space around the Plaza for 13,000 more fans, who can keep track of the action through various TV screens throughout the centre.
The main arena has circular seating all facing towards the main centre stage. Above the main stage are 3 large LED screens facing outwards. The main stage is quite versatile and can change depending on the game that’s being played.
History
The Three Gorges Harbour Esports Stadium, so named after the famous Three Gorges area surrounding it. Building started in 2017 and only took 7 months to finish, making it launch at the end of 2017.
China has long been a champion of Esports, and wanted to put themselves at the forefront of the gaming industry by building the largest dedicated Esports arena in the World. It was hoped that the whole community of Zhong County can be uplifted by this Esports project.
Not only is the arena being built in Zhong County, but a whole Esports village is expected to be built in the near future.
