History

Owned by the Shanghai Media Group, the Tech Studio is presumably to be used for other types of media produced by this company such as Television and Radio shows.

Due to Coronavirus and the strong desire by Riot Games to keep the 2020 League of Legends Worlds final going, the Tech Studio was temporarily converted to an Esports Arena.

The only known Esports competition was League of Legends Worlds 2020, and there are no further plans to use this space as the Worlds 2021 was able to organised in a normal arena.
