History
Despite the Global Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020, WePlay were determined to open their Kyiv based Esports Arena even though audiences would be severely limited during the first few months of it’s existence.
The WePlay Esports arena was officially opened 13th October 2020 when they hosted their first live event, which was a series of speakers on Esports related topics.
The first major tournament to be hosted at the WePlay Arena was December 11th 2020, which was a Mortal Kombat tournament named WePlay Dragon Temple.
In 2021 the Arena really starting picking up momentum hosting Dota 2, Tekken, Soulcalibre and Mortal Kombat tournaments.
